Young smart professors in Kyoto University

I and Sakanoue-san visited Prof. Kaji's group who is a very important principle researcher in OPERA. His research group composed of the top-class young professors, Profs. Yasujiro Murata, Tetsu Sato, and Atsushi Wakamiya. We enjoyed talking on new research plan and Italian cuisine with three expensive wines! Thanks Kaji-sensei!

Another OPERA at Nakasu (Downtown at Fukuoka)

Another OPERA, sing a song!, was held at a bar "Marine" at Nishi-Nakasu. I know this bar since I was a graduate student. Foreigners really love KARAOKE! International exchange was continued until midnight. We almost missed the last train. I hope that guests will enjoy the rest of time in Japan.

OPERA Winter School 2011!

OPERA winter school was held in Inamori hall in ITO campus. This program was co-held with G-COE program in Kyushu Univ. Thus, a lot of graduate students attend it and I believe that they really enjoyed the significant talks. The program was composed of both academic and industry sides that gives us both insight of science and technologies in organic electronics. The research field of organic electronics is expanding very much and novel ideas are really welcome. I hope young researchers join organic electronics and lead the new electronics and photonics world! I would like to thank all speakers and attendees! See you next WS2012!
