We had a special guest, Prof. Shingo Fuchi, from Nagoya University. He has been working at the Japan Governmental Patent Office as an examiner. His talk was not only how to prepare patent documents but also how examiners deal with patent documents. I again convinced that patent issues are a quite another world from scientific works, although we have to correspond it practically. Scientists should start discussion to change the patent system in Japan.
PS: Second party was so exciting that we almost missed the last train!
